Property Search in a Wordpress Website

We have a website built in Wordpress for a real state, so there you can see all the rentals and sales that they have.
The work will consist in making the property search work with the properties that are listed as posts, showing the results in a list-style that we already have.
The property search has the following fields:
Keyword or phrase (text), Location (dropdown), Property type (dropdown), Min. num. of bedrooms (dropdown), minimum price (dropdown) and maximum price (dropdown).
We believe that these fields should be as custom fields inside the post, however is work of the person contracted to decide how we should organize the properties in order to work with the property search.
