Writing content for the home page of my website

First go through the site. As you can see, this website is selling eBook advising tax saving strategies for U.S. taxpayers.
I launched my websites last December. Right now the website has PR-2 and I am constantly adding links for its promotion.
I have made many efforts to promote it. The subject is good so as the e-book, but I am not able to get much conversion. One of the reasons I can see is less effective home page.
I am looking out for creative people to write catchy content for the Homepage. You should be able to write a convincing and compelling content. The size of the content will be around 4,000-5000 words (I believe in long content). Use of effective headlines and skill to take the reader to the selling point is important.
Please quote VERY reasonably. There may be loads of work to follow. I can think of giving annual contract for suggesting updates to the content.
You may be a newcomer or an experienced writer, I don’t mind. What you need to do - Submit your concept in about 500 words to so that I can understand your approach and your skill. Attach that file to your message. Sorry, I cannot decide on the basis of your other work. Take the present keywords for your sample, but I may change them slightly for final work. Content must be unique and must pass copyscape.
