I have enhanced the jomsocial toolbar with other groups and items. Unfortunately, the toolbar is not visible on site visits linked with the enhanced items. The toolbar editor simply modifies the Jomsocial toolbar. It doesn't extend it to other components, the reason it disappears is
when I navigate to those components they don't have the jomsocial toolbar built into them. This should be fixed.
