iPhone Gallery/RSS Application

Skilled iPhone application developer wanted to design very iphone gallery/rss application.
HOW IT WORKS
The application will consist of two sections. These are 'Gallery' and 'News Reader'. and these will pull information from an already existing website.
PART 1 - THE GALLERY
This should show a categorised list of galleries: eg Red Cars, Blue Trucks, Orange Lorries etc... Each category should have it's own thumbnail image. When you select a gallery, it should then go to a page containing a larger version of the thumbnail, plus some descriptive text and the amount of images it contains. Pressing anywhere on the screen should take the user directly to the thumbnail page for that particular gallery. If there are more than 16 images in the gallery, it should be possible to paginate the thumbnail pages so the user can simply flick through the screens. If a thumbnail is pressed, it should show the full sized photo which should take up the entire screen. Again, the user should be able to scroll through the images by flicking through them - like with the standard iPhone gallery app.

This section should pull in data from an RSS file which appears on an existing website. Like with the gallery, the content should also be displayed in categories: eg News, Events, Classes etc... When you select a category, it should open up a list of the latest news items in that section. When the user selects one of the news items, it should open the full item directly in the app, not the browser.
HOW THE APP UPDATES
The app should auto-update its content from the web. New gallery and news reader categories should be detected automatically, as should any new images and news items. This update procedure should NOT effect the speed of the app, which should be quick and easy.
