We have a web widget already which is based on HTML/CSS and Javascript => no flash and no binaries. It loads information from a online server and outputs the XML'data within the widget.
Now we are looking for a desktop widget which is a standalone application which does not require google desktop, yahoo widget engine, widgetfx etc. It should be a single .exe file without any dependencies.
All it has to do, is embedding our html/css/js information.

Windows Desktop Widget
simply display the item ranking in the category, as seen in the image attached.
I have also attached an image of what I want the widget to resemble.
This widget needs to be able to be open on Windows 7.
The user of the widget should be able to input at least 4 of the ASIN of their selection. (ASIN is the identification number on Amazon)
The widget should refresh at intervals selected by the user, say every 5 minutes or every 10 minutes.

Desktop Widget (Mac and PC)
e been told AIR is the way to build them. It needs to be able to work with xml from our server to update, etc.
We will have 5-10 different designs for the widgets which our clients can pick from and then they can sell advertising, etc.
My php programmers will help create a backend so the clients can update the widget. Widget I assume can include RSS feeds, Hot stories, etc.
I also need the widget to be able to flip to show more information.

Convert My orderform page to a desktop app using adobe air
d once i have completed the form i will need it converted to a desktop application using adobe air. All features of the form such as auto look up etc needs to work and the form will need to work as a standalone desktop app that connects to my website.
