Development of a social website for a network of groups.
Actual design concept and look of site is secondary importance - provider must be good at programming and database development.
The project entails developing a CMS admin panel, from where admin can create and manage the group websites. The actual design work will be for 1 main homepage, and the group websites (all of which use the same frame and have the same features), with a few tabs in the navigation menu.
The basic concept is similar to Google groups or meetup.com (to a much smaller scale with less features); group websites using the same frame, new group sites are created and added by admin, users have limited access).
Each group site has member profiles, message boards, calendar with event RSVP options, sponsor banners.
The most important features of the group sites will be the calendar, displaying events with RSVP option, and the advertising system (sponsor banners and listings).
Database must record all member data (new registers), event RSVPs, site visits and incoming traffic source.
The site can be developed in any language as long as it works correctly based on the specifications.
