Config: Cisco 1720 Router Firewall + US Robotics 3453 Modem

I have a small office network. I need to determine whether I need to have a firewall configured on my T1 Cisco 1720 Router and IOS updates installed. Also, a US Robotics 3453 external modem needs to be configured for backdoor access to the Router.
This is all a little bit over my head and I don't want to blow it by trying to wing it all by myself. I am fairly proficient, however, and pick up on things quickly. I've studied the manuals and did a lot of the configuration myself.
I use both Windows XP and Mac OSX Leopard workstations.
Also, AT&T is saying that I shouldn't have to reboot the router if their circuit goes down, and the IOS needs to be updated. The IOS is currently at 12.1(7).

Configure Cisco ASA 5505 Firewall for DDoS Protection w/ASDM

Edgemarc 4550 Router / Firewall Configuration +SIP
has 5 external IP's that route to 2 mail servers, 1 Asterisk Server for internal phones, 1 Parallels Server. All these use the external IP to access in and out of the network - no NAT used for these.
Internally, there are PC that need to access the internet and 3 or so IP Phones.

Need help seting up cisco PIX 515e firewall by bn123

Need 2 setup router firewall
I have at home a small 3Com OfficeConnec ADSL Wireless 11g Firewall Router and while it works, I need to make it work better.
Now the firewall is not really doing much and also don't know how to do port forwarding. I use BitComet and because ports are not forwarded the download rate is ridiculous.

Setup Config on Cisco 877 router to route public IP range
We have a Cisco 877 working on a PPPOA connection with a single nat'd IP.
Our provider have given us 8 IP's and we want to route this small subnet for a few live IP'd devices.
Nat'ing these is no good as the machines has to have a live IP for license reasons.
