Modify small python script (<30 lines)

Current situation:
A small python script (25 lines) makes backup of a mysql database (using mysqldump), zips it and then sends it further by email. This zip file has become too big and cannot be sent at once anymore.
Your assigment: Modify the existing python script so that email is again working
Probably this can be done by
- splitting up large zip file into smaller zip files
- sending the smaller zip files in multiple emails
Important: reconstruction in windows xp to one big file must be easy (preferably through windows zip funtionality)

Modify existing Python script to use pyodbc

Debugging Python Dictionary Pickling Script
I have a python script which reads data from the internet, processes it, and then stores it in a dictionary. At the end of each cycle, the dictionary is the pickled. This program works fine however, every now and then, there is an issue when I try to open the dictionary backup. I get an EOFError error message. Upon awarding the bid, I can provide the programmer with the python script and a broken pickled dictionary.
