The project is to create a new Dot Net Nuke site and develop a DNN module which will facilitate designated users to view video files and update various attributes on a table holding information about the video file.
Roles will exist to limit the viewing of videos to particular users/logons. The requirements around the roles are more complex than the DNN standard roles so may require new development or enhancement of what already exists.
Users will be assigned to Organisations
Organisations can be broken down into Site Offices
Roles assign Sites to Users
Video files are recorded against a Site Office
My preference is to hold the User Accounts, Organisations, Site Offices and Video metadata in an Oracle database and I’d like you to quote on that basis. Obviously DNN will require it’s own SQL Server repository.
I have created the data structures and views required to support this process however I require the DNN site creating and UI modifications to enable viewing the files and updating the database.
We do not have a DNN implementation currently, you will need to quote to implement a new site and make the necessary modifications/developments to meet the above requirements.
Functional spec has already been defined.
