FileHold Web Site Updates
Required skills: Drupal, Javascript, PHP
FileHold Systems Inc. is making many regular updates to it's web site www.filehold.com . The work includes the insertion of new pages, re-organization of pages, updating menue navigation and general beautification.
We currently do not use any tool such as Dreamweaver or or any other website editing software. The site is totally maintained completely manually. To do the updates we are looking for a contractor who has excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript. PHP and MySQL would be a bonus. And Photoshop would be a double-bonus. Basically the developer needs to be able to look at the code, understand it and move things around without screwing things up. A longer term project might be to convert the entire site to Drupal so it would be good to secure the services of a contractor who might do that work as well (Out of curiosity I would be interested in non binding quote estimates on a total Drupal conversion).
There is urgency to get this work started. Each project will be defined via an e-mail.
The first project would be described as follows:
This page http://www.filehold.com/evaluate/datasheet.htm is to be totally reworked. Attached is all of the new page information (will be supplied to the selected contractor - there are 15 pages). The attachments are not in the right order but are clearly labeled – check with me if there are problems. All formatting needs to be checked to comply with the web site style sheets. All main headings must be H1 - and only 1 H1 per page - there will be other SEO guidelines given.
We want to accomplish the following:
1. Beautify it by putting the PDFs besides the text and getting rid of all the white space.
2. We need nice descriptive links to the PDF’s – I have tried to improve them. Make sure the PDF open in a new page so that when they close you return to FH (like you have done with the ones you have added). In all cases I am trying you have both the PDF and a web page to get best SEO value.
3. No longer use the phrase “Click Here” – instead use the key phrase involved in the link i.e. For visitor interested in creating a document management RFP, click here. Should be: For visitor interested in creating a document management RFP, Document Management RFP.
4. Provide a web page as well as the PDF – I will be creating new web pages but there are a couple already that need to have menues improved: http://www.filehold.com/product/paperless-office.htm
5. Improve navigation by creating a new Sub Menu and sub menues under them as follows:

i. Engineering documents (Sierra PDF and Web page attached)
ii. Medical Patient Documents (New PDF and web page)

v. Customer Services (Rapid deployment) (PDF on web site – web page attached)
vi. Trucking and Freight Documentation (New PDF and new web page attached “is paper slowing down …”)

Video Web Site Project
, we would like to add in some other functions in the web site such as video upload from the user or sender to the guests they are sending these too.
We would also like an I –phone application as well to work with this page so that the users can upload videos from the I-phone to the Video Site we want created.
