PHP read/write to an MS Access DB on a remote server
Required skills: Access DB, PHP
We need to be able to gain access (read/write), from our website running on a Windows Server (or it can be easily switched to Linux), to an MS Access 2007 Database which is on a remote server running under Windows Server 2003. We have been trying to do this using PHP and we had been under the impression that we could do this with odbc php functions (odbc-connect(), etc.), but have not been able to get this to work.
Note that the solution must use PHP, since we are familiar with it, and it needs to be able to read/write securely.
Also note that it is NOT an option to use a different DB than MS Access since it is part of the main software package we use to run our business.
Please include the word "serious" in your response so that we know that you can read and follow directions.

We seek to retain all features [and add 2 new tables] from within this Paradox DB and migrate to MS Access.....so we seek an expert who can help us build our existing DB into Access.

- Be able to use Unicode fonts (such as Arial, Tomaha, etc...)
- Compatible with Joomla 1.5.20
If Ms Access is NOT a good idea for this task, a suitable program would be OK.

Ms Access Ole Object Extraction To Physical Image Files
I have an MS Access DB with 304 records and 2 fields (a member number, and a picture OLE Object). The image format of the OLE Object seems to vary (BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG). I need all 304 pictures extracted as physical image files named with the corresponding member number and with the appropriate extension type (.bmp, .gif, .jpg, .png). Attached is a sample of the Access MDB with only 12 records.

Need a php expert to convert a static page into dynamic
like the bidders to create an ms access db with two field Id and id_text and populate it with 4-5 data sets. Create an html page where there are five links . On mouse over of each link the corresponding text in the id_text field of the database is displayed in the same html page. THis must be written using a combination of javascript and php.

e contractors list. This problem is that it always selects all instances of a certain contractor (this means if a person is listed several times, all instances are listed on the CPO). We need this changed to that only the lines in the contractor list you select appears on the CPO but we would need to be able to select multiple lines.

Set up online access to a Access DB
eroffice. I suspect there is a less expensive way to host the DB online. We are a small outfit, all home-based with PCs. We do not a vpn but I understand that might be an option. If you recommend that please include cost.
