Flash Player Problems

Hi!
I'm wondering if it's possible for one of you to see about making/modifying a FLV (Flash) Player for use on a web site. My problem up to now has been that i'm not able to jump into videos when watching them. I have to wait for the whole video to load to be able to jump. This is rather frustrating both for me and my visitors. What can be done about this?
For now i'm most interested in skills to modify an existing player, as the whole process of making a new one from scratch will result in additional work regarding "Video ADS" and such (Also notetthat the player on my site is in SWF format and do not exsist in a decompiled state).

The player for some reason makes the background solid blue instead of white (like on the other pages), it also eliminates the side bar, and makes it impossible to actually write words above or below the player itself.
I need all this fixed...I want the sidebar to show up, I want the background on the pages to be white, and I want the ability to write on the page above or below the player.

There is a flash video player present already. It requires some customization to suit my website.
There are no additions of new features.
But customization/removal of a few buttons, text and URL on the player as per my needs.
It is a flash player. Programmer should be good with ActionScript, I guess. Very small project.

Flash Player Website Editing
I have saved FLV files in web folder. I need flash player that will play recorded flv file. it will be growing number of FLV file in that folder.I need those recorded flv show in website as thumbnails and when we click thumbnail, it will play by flash player with RTMP. I already have site with jw player. I need to show those recorded flv files under that player.

r. There are a few bugs with the player that need to be fixed.
1. Its not compatible with PSP, xbox, etc. It needs to be compatible with the PSP, xbox.
2. The custom Skin that we had built in IE and firefox, they both have the same issue. when u zoom out of the site. ex. in FF view-->zoom-->zoom_Out. The control buttons disappear on the skin and u cannot play the videos. This needs to be fixed.
We have the source code for the custom skin.

Flash player - switching between audio only and audio+visual
yers can connect to the streams, but it requires java and can be a bit fiddly.
In order to keep compatability up, we want the flash player to 'do all the work'.
The player needs to have fault tolerence though, so that it doesn't switch to audio when the video stream might suffer one time out.

but with html5 player that work without problem.

These functions include Play, Stop, and maybe some other simple functionality to complete our goals.
