simple project for somebody who actually knows how to work with GAE, hence the low budget. As stated, I do not need an entire application built. I only need the database along with an explanation and/or java functions to modify the data from my android application. After task acceptance, I will provide my GAE account that I created solely for this purpose.

If the server is using the same communication protocol and nothing is broken by the developer, then the Mac and iPhone app will need to update the server URL.
Nothing else would have to be changed in the iphone app or the cocoa software besides this.
