convert image to 3D  

Convert the attached image to a 3D rotating image.
If the red ball could explode out and back in it would be an advantage.
The image is to be used for our BabelCube product, the idea behind BabelCube is to create order out of chaos - hence the cube rotating and making sense of this exploded ball into a normal shaped ball (if that makes sense?)

We've designed a 2d illustrated boy and girl and want to convert it to 3d in several positions.

ective is to use a 3d printer to output this file so that a blind person could feel the "brightness" of the various areas of the image.

I am open to any other ideas that would yield a 3d image capable of 'tactile' interpretation if output to a 3d printer (hence the STL format.)

I have 2D AutoCAD elevations for small villa; want to convert it to 3D max file "exterior only".
The design is quite simple, I need just "CLEAN" 3D object and I will texture it and light it.
