CAD - IGS Solidworks 2008 Conversion

We have two files in IGS format and we would like them converted to solidworks 2008.
We know very little about CAD but have been told that the IGS files are readable but not fully edittable in Solidworks (extra surfaces can be added, but not removed apparantly).
Please can you quote to convert the files to a fully usable Solidworks format.
This may be possible by software conversion, or maybe some re-drafting is needed.
We may also post a separate project to make some simple modifications in solidworks (just changing decorative aspects of the cover) , but for now its just the conversion you should quote on.

The files don't need to be to a specific "spec", we can provide design direction with approximates and then would need the CAD source files to create our 3d renders.
This would be an ongoing relationship and we will be using this person for various projects we have going on.
