011-Flash site with admin panel
Required skills: Flash, PHP, XML
A. Intro
The website will present:
o The ARTWORKS of a painter
o His BIOGRAPHY
o Some NEWS related to his work or in general
o His EXHIBITIONS
o Some Articles/">ARTICLES related to his work
o Some LINKS related to his work
o and will give access to a CONTACT page for Request for Information purposes.
All contents of the website will be dynamically updated through an Admin Panel
The website will be totally implemented with Flash and the contents should be within XML tags and attributes or directly from MySQL database.
The site will be in English and Greek language.
B. Information Architecture
The site map contains the following main Sections:
• INTRO PAGE (this is a page with embed to flash movie pictures and logo and some music)
• ARTWORKS
• BIOGRAPHY
• NEWS
• EXHIBITIONS
• Articles/">ARTICLES
• LINKS
• CONTACT
Only the ARTWORKS will have subsections (submenus).
Artworks submenus will be the following ones:
ARTWORKS
1. PAINTINGS (which will have 2 subcategories)
- Human relations
- Landscape
2. PHOTOS
3. DRAWINGS
4. GRAPHICS
The main categories will be fixed 4 and will not change in the future.
Subcategories should be changeable from Admin Panel (so the administrator will have the ability to add
subcategories on PAINTINGS, PHOTOS, DRAWNINGS, GRAPHICS)
Regarding dynamic content for every page:
• MAIN PAGE will have the main area for a big picture of a painting.
This picture should be dynamically changed. The administrator should have the ability to select between photos but he will
apply-publish only one picture on the MAIN PAGE area.
The picture of the main page should be up to 974 pixels in width and 409 pixels in height and it will be vertical aligned on the
area.
• BIOGRAPHY will have a text to be dynamic and 1 photo
• NEWS will have dynamic texts, thumb photo, big photo and links (to other websites)
• EXHIBITIONS will have dynamic texts and links (to other websites)
• Articles/">ARTICLES will have dynamic texts and links (to other websites)
• LINKS will have title of the link, the link itself and a thumb photo of the site
• CONTACT page will have the form you can see on the Contact.psd
• ARTWORKS CATEGORIES will be presented as a Photo Gallery. Every Artwork will have:
• Category in which belongs (for example PAINTINGS)
• Subcategory in which belongs (for example PAINTINGS > Human relations)
• General Details (for example: Human relations 11, 2008, Oil on canvas, 40X45 cm)
• Thumb Photo
• Main Photo (Every Painting will have 1 picture only)
There will be also a Slideshow for every ARTWORK CATEGORY, simply by pressing the suitable button on the area next to thumbs.
• CONTACT page will have the form you can see on the Contact.psd
