Web design & creation-E book development
Required skills: Flash, Java, Logo Design, Visual Basic, Website Design
Looking for a freelancer immediately to work on website design for a book-creation tool, similar to those used in Shutterfly photo books and others like it. Experience doing this a plus. The site will be designed from scratch--a web 2.0 community to share final products + a book creation tool that will prepare files according to specs and send to printer. Will also need an e-commerce back-end to purchase books.
Experience with children's illustrations and graphic design is also a big plus. Please submit quotes immediately and also submit links to work previously done that is relevant.
Initial phase of project MUST be done in 10 days. Please do not submit if you cannot turn out a prototype by then. It does not have to be the entire site, but a sample of the "look & feel" with working parts on the book creation specifically. I look forward to working together.

is a major time killer for us to be going through portfolios that don't meet the standards but the designer decided to bid anyways. The cheapest bid is not the most attractive. As much as we'd like to find someone that is affordable so that we can continue using that person on other projects - building a relationship is based on your competence and reliability not your price point.
