XML based Wordpress Plugin
Required skills: PHP, XML
We are currently working with a number of sports book providers that are providing information to us via XML feeds.
We need to create a plugin for wordpress that will allow us to:
Add XML Feeds from Providers
Specify how often the feed is pulled
Update the feed so that each post is up to date with recent events (you may need to cache it to achieve this)
Allow us to specify keywords via the wordpress post that will be queried in all XML feeds & then displayed. The main things we'll be querying are player names & events.
Query all the feeds & match up the keywords / events before displaying it.
An example of this is say we write a post about roger federer, we'll add the keyword roger federer to the plugin for that page & it'll query the XML feeds & display which tournaments he's playing in next & display the odds that each provider is willing to pay for that match. The secondary example may be us querying an event i.e. AFL Round 1, the plugin should then display all the teams (in order of the best odds) & what the other providers are paying also. Everytime we display the odds it should be in decimal format & also should link to the provider via our affiliate link. More details will be provided should you be chosen for the project.

Please include your previous experience working with wordpress pluigns, as well as with amazon's api. Please reply with the title "I am capable of making this wordpress plugin" just so I know you have read this.
I am not sure if amazon's api can do this, so if you know of a better solution for what I am trying to accomplish please let me know.

Need Wordpress Plugin Expert With Google Scraping Knowledge

Please provide examples of wordpress plugins you have programmed and an estimate how long/expensive an average plugin would be where you scrape some data from google and then compute a number of score based on the text in the post/page and the data from Google.
As an alternative to scraping Google, the user could upload a .cvs file which is used as the basis for the calculations.

The plugin will query the table in the database (hard coded) and return all field names / values and will load those into a template.
My template will be placed in the plugin folder and will be something like:

That content should then be displayed in the default Page template for the current theme.
