You will need to write module based crawler scripts that will fetch jobs from a site. The script will run in regular intervals to fetch the latest new jobs and add them to the database. Your job will minimally be to a) Make action plan b) Write parsing routines to get data from the pages. Most of other tasks like adding to database, etc. will be provided to you in a premade module.
This is a project requiring page parsing, regular expressions and/or using available CPAN modules. It is also an ongoing and long term relationship. As such, we offer between $ 20-$ 40 per crawler code, depending on the complexity of the site.

Perl RSS Crawler (program to crawl RSS feeds)
wget. It should completely work on its own (only using CPAN modules and a mysql database connection).
The crawler will be called once a day by cron.
The crawler will work on feeds of different languages.
The crawler should memorize feeds that were already processed.
It could memorize all feeds ever parsed.

The crawler couldd be developed in other languages like Java, Python or COmega. Let's discuss.

Web crawler / scrapper
newegg and search for all the specific products (e.g. Nike) and get some data e.g.:

* Item #: --------
* sku #-----
* people reviews related to the product.
The script/program will get all the data from all these websites and will feed it into MySQL database.
I am looking this scrapper / crawler in Perl or in java. But my 1st choice is Perl.

Perl Script Moving
I am changing server and I need a perl script to be moved from one server to another.
Perl script is supposed to catch UDP traffic on some specific port and crawl some info in this traffic (SIP traffic) and then post in a log file the traffic.
You can find copy of the script attached.
I tried to adapt it to new server. I launch the perl script, get no error but the script does not stay executed.
All the modules are correctly installed.

Crawler for car website
website, fetch links to items from result pages and extract item data and save this data into mysql table.

i know that the bid is not automatic.
You should also be expert in PHP MySQL functions(database), so that you can deal with the collected data to show from our website to the Users. The data has text & pics, and the volume is about average 20,000 rekords on daily basis.
Some notes/hints are in Russian language in the programme.

Modify a PERL script
I have a perl script that uses curl. I need a knowledgable coder to modify and customize it for me. This script is crawler/grabber and is 100% working and has no bugs. I just need to use it on a different website. I will also need to use this script with proxies.
