Configure Sendmail correct on Ubuntu Linux 8.10 dedicated server

I have an Ubuntu Linux 8.10 Dedicated Server and use Webmin as interface to the server. I want to use this server for bulkemailing. I have setup Sendmail as my smtp. The problem so far is that I can receive emails but when I want to send emails it fails. I am looking for someone to configure sendmail correctly so I can send emails to any email address that will be provided to me. I also want an explaination to what I did wrong for future references. After I have accepted a pro I will provide login details and all other asked for info.

Linux Virtual Dedicated Server Bandwidth Issue
ux Virtual Dedicated Server Hosted with Godaddy and am having an usually high amount of bandwidth being used on the site. The site is only a contextual Joomla site not an ecommerce site. Every day the exact amount of bandwidth is being used. Godaddy’s bandwidth meter shows that I am using 88Gb a day. I need someone to isolate the cause behind this and provide a solution and implement the solution.

1. Create a couple of new accounts and configure ftp connectivity
2. Upload perl scripts to the cgi-bin
3. Install some commonly used perl modules such as lwp:useragent from cpan. We will supply the list of modules that need to be installed.
4. Set up cron jobs
5. A few other minor tasks.
We expect prompt support over phone and by email.
