Main page design of Arabic website
Required skills: Banner Design, Javascript, Logo Design, PHP, Website Design
An Arabic web designer is needed to design the main page only of an Arabic web site. The design should be simple yet attractive, following the design styles and colors of sites as IMDB and Wikipedia. All styling should be provided in a separate CSS file, using classes for styling and inheriting class properties is preferred. The design should pass W3C validation. This project is only for the main page including the logo design, more pages will need to be designed in the future. Knowing PHP and the ability to style pages mixed with PHP code is a plus.
The site is a mixture between online social networks and a wiki. It provides a frame work for users to add information about Arabic artists (actors, actress, singers, writers , etc…) and Arabic Arts( movies, plays, albums) -the content of IMDB but for Arabic world. In the same time, it provides means of communication between fans through polls, threads and articles. The designer has the complete freedom to chose the best way to present the following contents on the main page. Suggestions from the designer are very welcomed. The whole web site is in Arabic.

4- Recently added / top rated actors
5- Recently added / top rated movies
6- Top active users
7- Recently registered users
8- Search bar with a drop down menu to select what sections to search in.

My site design is created by another designer but i want to add main page design. With proper arrangement of catageries and All the things on main page should be designed formaly.

Try to use a light shade of blue like in the freelancer website header. Avoid the one used in friskdesign.com
