Online directory / portal
Required skills: .NET, AJAX, Graphic Design, Photoshop, Website Design
I require an online portal / website to be designed and programmed. I have a business name (which will be available once a developer has been selected). I would like it developed in .NET using either MVC or Web forms is fine with Sql server database.
The project is similar to www.yell.com where a user can search the website for a particular service/product. There will also be an advanced search facility available for users to narrow down what they are looking for. User can login/register and save their searches for the next time they log in.
This search should appear in a listing form and can be sorted by relevance, price, location amongst others.
Businesses can also add themselves to the website by registering/log in and choosing a service and adding/uploading their details. This will require uploading images and content and then making a payment online.
This is the project in a nutshell. I have a more detailed project plan available which has pages and content required etc. This will be available to the chosen developer.
There is no deadline but would like this up and running by the end of 2008 if possible.

Iphone App linked to online directory
. It's an online travel directory and the app should make it possible to find and explore things in the directory from a map, post reviews and perhaps upload pictures.
