Childrens Book Illustrator Needed
Required skills: Graphic Design, Photoshop
I need 5 Illustrations for a childrens (baby) book plus the front cover illustration. The book is the first in a series and it is about a baby and what the baby does in his day. The main character will be in every illustration and I have uploaded a photo of him for you to look at. The baby will be wearing overalls in all illustrations except when he is sleeping. He will then be wearing blue teddy bear pyjamas.
The book is a simple one designed for little babies so the illustrations must be very simple and will be of the following situations and must be nice and bright:
1. baby waking up in his cot/crib in the morning. He is happy!
2. baby eating in his high chair. Having food out of a bowl with a spoon. He is happy.
3. Baby plays with his toys on the floor. Toy cars, balls, trains, rattles etc can be some of the toys. Babys mother will be there with him.
4. Baby gets tired. Show baby in mothers arms being carried to bed.
5. Baby has a nap. Baby in his cot/crib nice and cosy asleep. smiling.
6. The front cover will show the baby and his mother hugging and having fun. This is the most important illustration and must really be special to make people want to read the book.
You must draw the illustrations yourself and they must not be clip art. You must also not resell these designs to anybody else. Ever. The project bid you make is for me to buy the illustrations from you to be featured in my book that I hope will be published. You will be credited in the book for the illustrations.
