Perl Script to fetch data from xls and output in csv

I need a perl script to connect to a sqlserver database and select data from a table based on 4-8 given parameters in the .xls files and report the results in .csv format.
For example I want to get the results from deal_entry table based on column in the excel workbook SHEETS (there could be x number of sheets) where I find a particular column with name of deal_id, and or another column with name of deal_ref in another excel workbook.
So script needs to look at 7 workbooks and search each sheet for a particular column and fetch the results based on the column value.
I hope it's clear enough to begin with.
I need this script ASAP (2-3 days) and need an expert perl developer to work on it.
