Create script to publish content of nutrition database
Required skills: Excel, PHP
I have a nutrition database with appx. 1300 entries where different food is assigned a value of how many kcal, proteins, carbs etc. they contain. I need you to create a script which pulls the desired data from the database and displays it on my web pages. A MySQL/PHP solution is required.

The database is at the moment in an excel file.
The content of the database is in Norwegian. A language with strange characters like æ, ø & å. These characters can't be used as names on .html pages because not all browsers recognize them. This needs to be taken into consideration (replace "æ" with "_" for example)
Title tag in category pages need to be the name of the category. Example:
Pulver tørr vare
Title tag in entry pages need to be the name of the food AND some keywords provided by me. Example:
Buljongpulver - Antall kalorier, proteiner, karbohydrater
Name of pages need to user-friendly. Example: food285.html, not food.php?285
The pages need to be template based and possible to modify, add ads, add footer, change format of text and font.
WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO
I will send you the database and information about which information you need to pull from it. You create the script and upload it to your site so I can test it. When everything works fine you send me the final script.
TIME
I am not sure how long time this project takes, but the main work is pulling the data from the database and displaying it on .html pages. Modifications to .htaccess in order to make user/seo friendly URLS may also be time consuming. I would like to select a freelancer on Tuesday which can get the job done by the end of the week.

Question: Will this type of verification process actually help me keep tabs of tables that might start having a problem? Or is there something else I should also consider doing? I'm not interested in having the script automatically fix any problems. I just thought it made sense to be notified.

I needed an wordpress script which can be used to replace content of all posts with a standard message.
"This site is no longer working and we have removed all the content"
The posts URL should not be changed .. that is why am not deleting the wordpress posts. Because i want to start using this site for other purpose.

Create Script To Rotate/Fade Background Images

I need to be able to put content in front of the rotating / fading background images and I need the first image to be automatically loaded on the page when it first is loaded.

YouTube Data API - script to put data into mysql database
each run takes (each run will have to get user info, video info, social networking info related to each user in the list). Want to organize database so that a new row for each user is added to database every time.
Once the code for these tasks is set up then we are fine to run things ourselves. No administration is needed.
Setting up the MySQL database will also be needed - we will pay the fees for the hosting service, etc and let you set everything up.

Update PHP Scripts to use New MYSQL Image Database
thumbs folder. That script needs to be changed to pull the thumb from the new media database by ID.
This should be a fairly quick straightforward project for someone who knows php and mysql; however, these scripts are not particularly well documented.
Also, please don't lecture me about not putting images in MYSQL. We are doing this for specific reasons. Lastly, this is for an adult search engine, so please be advised.
