Neighborhood breakout
This section will display listings with the following logic (compare .xml file to propSQLdb if a property from the xml file is in the propsSQLdb then display it on the page). You will need to be able to populate the map and the property list below (see sample) with the data above. We want to display 10 properties at a time.. When a user mouses over a map point the point should expand to show a photo, property address, list price, beds, baths, house sqft, and a link for more information. The link will take you to the property details page. The left navigation will need to be able to refine the search based on the search box (see our provided page for details). We will need to be able to edit the .xml file location in the php source and to be able to rename the page for use with multiple neighborhoods on the same site.

The House of Week Section
This will be a showcase display of a property in the neighborhood. You will need to pull the newest property from the howdb and populate the page that we have designed. You will need to pull the rest of the homes of the week in the db and populate a list that can be clicked on to display that property in the same page template.
We want to the code to be done in PHP and the property database is in MySQL. We currently use yahoo maps for all of our mapping. So please see http://developer.yahoo.com/maps/ for more information. Our goal is to keep the URL’s as clean as possible for seo purposes.

Plesk version psa v8.3.0_build83071218.20 os_FedoraCore 4
Operating system Linux 2.6.9-023stab044.4-enterprise
