PHP & Mysql E-commerce Solution
Our Product Range
We are after a full rebuild of our e-commerce solution.
Our company is product education computer based training; it is delivered via the
internet or cd.
Our main product will have anything from 2 – 4 different formats. Some of our items will
have only 2 formats and others will have all 4 formats.
We also want an, “add, edit,
delete” format functions. Which is for admin users only!
One product will have many formats and 1 format will have many products. It’s a many
to many relationship.
AVI and QuickTime will be two of those formats, which can be purchased to be viewed
online or on cd. If the viewed online option is chosen, there will be a time limit that it can
be viewed in. The time limit can be set by admin users.
Naturally there will be significant price difference between purchasing the viewing online
and cd option.
We have also package deals to offer to our customers. A few of our main products can be
bundles up as a “Special Package “and package pricing.
We also want a setup a paper voucher system, so they can select any AVI/Quick time
files to view online.

There will be a lot of email shuffling between us and the web developers to discus other
product functions.
Users
There will be 4 different users:
1) General Users
Add, Edit, Delete own profile.
Purchase our products
View all front end and logged in pages.
2) Special Guest User
Add, Edit, Delete own profile
View all, AVI & QuickTime movies only
Other file formats can be viewed, but not allowed to download unless paying.
3) Staff
Add, Edit specific tables within the database.
4) Admin User
Add, Edit, Delete
Unrestricted Access to all pages.
Note: * General Users & Special Guest will get their login details from the Users Table
Staff & Admin Users will get their details from an Admin Table.
We want a separate table for the Admin Users.
The Dynamic Pages
We have a rough layout we want to use and modify. Our main customers are females
30 yrs +. So we want it to be easy for them to get around
We also want a Bread Crumb function, so they always know where they are within the
site. Also a site map for quick and easy guide.
The person we are after will be working side by side in the development of our
e-commerce site. Working on parts of the front and back end.
There will be other functions we would want and need. To be discussed.
Summary
We are also after a long-term relationship. Not just to finish
the site and it is over.
