Covert simple MS Access database to VB by movingon
Required skills: .NET, C/C++, PHP, Visual Basic, Windows
Project: Convert a simple MS Access data base (2000) to VB front end and ms access(mdb) backend
I have designed an MS Access data base which I now need to be converted to VB(standalone).
It is a database selling garden sheds etc to the public. The main functions are:
- printing of an invoice
- scheduling the installation of the sheds by date/area
- displaying of data in different layouts in forms/reports
- Field display names are mostly variables so can be changed from a table.
Not much, and mostly form/report driven.
There are no macro's
Very little code and is very basic.
There is a little basic coding required that I could not do with forms etc.
Please read attached notes.

My domain remains on the windows based server until such a time I repoint the DNS from the old to the new ie;- When the job at hand is completed. In the meantime, I am already setup on the new linux server via a dedicated ip address rather than thru the nameserver. - userID/passwords/permissions will provided to selected bidder. Moving date around mid Oct.

Convert MS Access database to MS SQL database

But the most important part is the thorough/step-by-step documentation of how to deploy this application in both a single-machine and domain/networked environment. I currently use Microsoft's VS.NET 2005 deployment wizard to create MSI files and this is how I'd prefer to do it to keep it simple. We are currently running a small in-house MS Access database which we now need to access via multiple retail stores over a VPN.
With MS Access you cannot use it over a VPN efficiently so we are in need of upgrading the database to SQL so then it can be run fast over the VPN.

Convert MS Access Database to MySQL Tables
ust have a few tables to go so need somebody who can do this work today.
I also need help with the tables that have been imported. They were imported as duplicate tables like if i had students table originally in mysql then we made another called students2 for the new imported ms access data.
Now I want to copy the data from students2 to students which is pretty easy.. just need to match the fields i want to bring across.

Convert ASP site using MS Access Database to MSSQL

ach SKU in the sku-name.csv file (table) and display the details for each unique SKU in the report (NAME, PRICE, CATEGORY).
The resulting report will be simple:

This database does not need a data entry form or anything else. We will manually update the database tables as needed from new .csv export files from another application.

We will like to develop MS Access Script that will read text '|' delimiter file, into 2 different Access Table. If the first field on the line is H then it will be read to H table. I need to somehow publish an MS access database so that it can be accessed via the internet. I want the menu to be a page and then the data to be entered right from the page.
The problem is I do not have a .ASP or MS compatible server.
