Help setup a Linux Network!? by Syan
Required skills: Linux, Windows
I am open to all suggestions! (It does NOT necessary need to be Linux, any other cheap solution is welcome too!)
What I need:
Set of 12 clients that are controlled by 1 server.
Use of clients:
1-Only show 1 single internet webpage. People cannot browse away from this specific webpage. They can only click within this same website.
2- There is an instant messenger on each 'client' so if someone behind client surfing on my website have question then they can ask it instantanuoulsy by instant messanging.
I must be able to know exactly from which client question comes and could reply to it from my own PC or laptop (internet connection available!)
3- All clients can be switched ON and OFF at once by 1 command or button from the Server.
4- Cheapest possible licensing! I don't need windows on all those individual clients because I will only use them to browse my website. It would be a waste of money to install windows on them i think. (so Linux is the only solution?)
I will accept any provider for this project if:
- You can connect remotely to Server PC so you can configure anything
- You have time to do this within 2 days! (Server is already built! and I have 2 internet connections!)
- You understand the requirement and could do this fast and on a professional way
Feel free to make some suggestions on how to setup this network as use of it is very minimal (browsing only my website, remaining websites on internet is not allowed to surf on!)

IMPORTANT!! I forgot to mention that all 10 clients will NOT have harddisk as they will only use internetbrowsing.
So only main pc will have harddisk drive.

Help with a linux mailserver
a server with interspire that is using all 18 ips and domains equally. That's it :-). I'd like to be sending 200k emails from it regularly.

ever, the first impressions of dealing with them and treating us like just another ticket didn't inspire us to take their service offering. We would rather have a relationship with someone independent.
If you can see to maintaining updates for our routers we can also consider an annual payment for this to you rather than paying that out to Vyatta as well, since the community release is the same.

Linux Server by synergycomputers
Nedd someone to setup a Linux Server. Have loaded Fedora Core 4.0. Need to setup e mail, spam and virus protection and a faxing software.
Have postfix and spamassin running but that is it. Also need instruction on administration. Need to complete this weekend, Monday at the latest.

GENERATE PDF SCREENSHOT ON A LINUX SERVER by devproject
We are having problems with the 2nd step. We don't know how to generate the proof properly, so the only idea is to take a screenshot of a generated pdf and show it as a pdf proof ... that would be 100% accurate.
How to do it? That is the problem. We can generate a PDF but we don't know how to convert it to a screenshot (png, jpg, gif) on a linux server. The server is dedicated, so if a software could do that it would not be a problem.

Setup Transparent Linux Bridge
Looking for someone to help me setup and configure a transparent linux box in bridge mode. What I am looking to do is place a linux box (in transparent mode so not to affect the speed) between our network switch and our dsl router to monitor the ip traffic and use iptables to disable users by ip or mac address. Would also like to have ntop (or something similar) installed to report ip traffic by ip address.

Setup Mail Server on Linux Box
rough our VPS that will be a relay for a custom mailing system we've created. This is through remote login on a barebones VPS. You'll have full access to an newly installed server, and even access to re provision it with a different Linux OS (it has CentOS 5 now).
We'd need a step by step of what you did to set it up as well.
