Required XHTML Skilled data entry person to help us populate our ecommerce website store which is being created following web standards in mind. We are using http://www.sundewsoft.com/products/websundew/ data harvester software to extract data from few of our wholesaler website with whom we are registered with. What you need to do:
1. You have to understand, how websundew work and how to extract data from our wholesaler website using this software. Once you run the harvester, it output a CSV format file.
2. Once CSV file generated, you need to clean CSV file by Editing and removing few garbage lines. As because the harvester program brings all Product description in a plain HTML/text format (which is not validated), you need to convert this HTML format to XHTML and also need to make it validated from W3C validator services.
3. Once CSV file is cleaned, you have to upload CSV file into our website using admin control panel CSV IMPORT option wizard.
4. Also few of the wholesaler website consist of 1-2 line of product description, which is not sufficient to make a quality content for a product, so in this case you have to visit the manufacturers website, search the Product with the product ID, copy product description, make it in valid XHTML format and paste it into our website Admin Panel (using EDIT Product option).
REQUIREMENTS: XHTML knowledge, knowledge of ecommerce will be a added advantage and good errorless typing skill.
IMPORTANT: In order to receive this project you will have to provide a sample file with the following products and satisfy our expectations.
