Online Point of Sale and Inventory Program by canefield
Required skills: ASP
I am in need of a program for my retail operations. The program must be hooked to our website so that I can log in from anywhere to check sales and inventory. We have 3 stores that this will need to work with. In the future we may have over 20 stores so it must be ble to grow. I prefer ASP. I know some think it is old fashioned but I find it to be very stable from prior experience. We have as many as 200,000 different items that we sell so it should have a infinite area to add product, keep track of cost and inventory levels. We want it with different security levels also. I must have total control while people in store only see what they need to see. One of the stores cannot have constant internet yet so they may need to log in at the end of the day and have an easy way to upload all sales info.

there features. We would like the project to be complete in 1-3 months. A program we liked was made by www.pcamerica.com We have a client who uses it and seems to love it. As we don't need all the features of this program many would be the same or very similar. We need someone to manage the project. If you have developed a POS application for restaurants in the past that would be a big plus. We don't want to have to explain the workings of a restaurant from scratch.
