i am looking at developing a Mobile Instant messenger like www.mxit.co.za
Users can download the software for their phones from www.mxit.co.za/wap and the new release from www.mxit.co.za/beta/
The software is Freely available.
Its just like MSN, but on the phone, users can add other users by cell phone number and chat instantly accross the network. They can also join a chat room, 7 users per chat room, supports 100s of chatrooms. Users SMS a number to buy credits to be able to send 200 messages on a chat room.
Chatting to ur own contacts on the system are free.
It also supports gateways like MSN, yahoo, iol so that besides chatting to users on the mxit network, u may automatically link to ur other contacts from ur computer based msn, directly on ur phone.
I need a developer with substantial experience to provide feedback and discuss with me how we shall implement, time he will need to develop, costings, network infrastructure if we need any. He should have full knowlege to complete the entire project.

nger, and starts messaging the people on the friends list whatever I tell it to. pretty much your run of the mill chat bot like a yahoo bot only for myspace specifically. it needs to be able to load multiple accounts at once and to message multiple persons at once. this should be easy enough.

d to work flawlessly with the site and members i have on the site. Dont want anything where my members have to creat new accounts or sign in and all that. would like a im link placed on the page and once click by a member, i will open as their IM.. add and delete features, smilies etc. open to any solutions as long as it works flawlessly with the site and members.. would like also the member name displayed along with member profile pic. like on phpfox script 1.1 v..
