I have a screensaver made for MacOS X which is programmed in Cocoa>Objective C and source code is availible as well as a mac binary of the screensaver. I would like to have it ported to both windows and linux. I also want to be able to receive daily updates on the projects progress via email. A RPM would be nice for the linux binary of the screensaver, there preferably should be a binary RPM for both KDE and Gnome and if you'd like any other linux GUIs although KDE and Gnome are the only two that the screensaver has to work with at least at this point in time...the source code for linux should be easy to compile in both KDE and Gnome as well as other GUIs and the source code should come in both a RPM that leaves the source in the standard locations as well as a .tar.gz

The Windows port should work through Windows98 and up, any version older then that does not have to be compatible with the screensaver unless you'd like to provide such compatibility

Small changes to an OSX app required (Objective C)
certificates and changing the code to be able to submit it for review. The application is simple and we do not expect push back from Apple, but just in case, we may need help in that process (if small changes are required so the application is approved).

I believe this can be done with socat but am not sure. I'm basically looking to capture data coming in on a serial port (9600/8/1), write it to file, and forward it to a tcp or udp port for use by another application.
