Upgrade phpBB 2.0.16 Forum to phpBB 2.0.18 by karon

a text based BBS system using Discusware http://www.discusware.com

We are using MySQL on a linux server.

We wish to convert the message system to either phpbb3.

This forum will operate under Joomla so knowledge of Joomla would be a bonus.

Note: There is a converter which converts our discusware forum to phpbb 2 (Then an upgrade to phpbb3 is required)

The Snitz forum on www.riffeljagt.com needs to be converted to a forum based on the newest version of phpbb. The forum is in Danish (theres special characters!) and it is very important, that all data - posts, user data (incl. passwords), pm's, etc. - is converted correctly.

Note 2: Some data standardization will be required to cleanup the data before it is imported into phpbb

possible content. I would like the site converted to the latest phpBB version. I would like a backup copy of all XMB files in case I decide to go back to XMB. I need my XMB forum to be running and operational after the phpBB version has been made, and I will also need written instructions on how to update the posts/members/threads that occur between the time when you create the phpBB version and transfer the data over and when I actually make that site operational.

I wouuld like to add a forum to my web site.
Please state what you require in your bids as i dont know much on this subject

What i reqire is that the forum is incorporated in my web site and not outside it! A trick on that is ok also.

ic and the wordpress comments will become the respective posts in that topic in ascending order of date as originally in wordpress. The authors and date will remain the same for posts and comments transferred from wordpress. The layout, formatting and the html tags including the object and embed tags in the posts and comments should be transferred to the phpbb posts. The wordpress categories will become phpbb forums and each post will go into the forum created from it's first category.

Then I am looking for someone to really promote the forum. I can give other related forums where you can 'carefully' promote to get members to go to my site.

om a box for a logo at the top of the page which has to be 300 pix high by 800 pix wide which can easily be changed. The theme must be very modern looking, easy to edit and have "Rat Features" (in a design of your choosing) on it at the bottom right hand corner. Must come in a red, blue, green and black theme colours. It can just be the standered phpBB 3 forum layout.

I see where there MODs to add this to the board, but I see they have to manually done in the php scripts of the forums. This is something I am not very familiar with, so need someone with experience in that.

Please send me proposal and some examples of past work.

5- Add a way to make it harder for porn sites to hack and post into my forum especially if I make my forum not password protected.

The other thing which may be a problem, I need to be able to select which viewforum.php?f=xx I need this to choose from, as the HTML pages are going to work as 'portals' to each forum on my message boards.
