A Gps tracker sends SMS: a string made of coordinates including longitude and latitude, speed, date etc. to a simple mobile phone. SMS message is regular SMS message and it goes directly to mobile phone's inbox.

We need a Symbian C++ or similar application which would extract longitude and latitude from the last incoming SMS message and display Google maps with integrated longitude and latitude on the cell phone display pinpointing the exact location sent by GPS tracker.
Purpose of this simple application would be avoiding, typing longitude and latitude digits which are quite plenty, by user in order to get visual location on the map.
Application should work on mobile phones with Symbian Operating System.

Custom Google Map

Wordpress CMS, so if there are any technical implementation steps with that CMS, I'll need some tips on how to install the custom map there as well..

I've already attempted to create this map in Google's 'MyMaps' section, and it didn't meet my needs.. the maps I referenced above seem to be using a special version of Google's custom maps (maybe the KML version)

Google Map Project

app script for me.

I need a scrip that will place data from mt DB and overlay that data on a google map. The script will need to pull the latitude and longitide fields from the SB and place them on the map using markers. I will also need some other info placed on those markers such as NAME OF PLACE, DESCRIPTION, AND THUMBNAIL.

If I have 10 markers I need them to be routed with directions.

This needs to be done useing php/mysql/ajax

I have a Joomla website with a google map in an article on the main page.

I need users to be able to post markers on the maps with text/images etc.

The markers should be permanent and visible to all users and the public but only editable by the user who put it there and the admin (or just the admin if that is easier.)

I don't imagine this to be hard, I could nearly get it working but I am not good at code.

at will take tweets from Twitter, save them to either a database or a flat file and then using Google's geocoding api, get their location and then have them posted to a google map. I want to be able to filter the tweets that are posted to the map based on a keyword. The map, probably using AJAX, should be updated regularly (say every 10 seconds) with new tweets if there are new ones that contain the keyword.
